OK, so that was wierd.

My finger had been just hurting for about 2 days now. It was like, ALL OF A SUDDEN my finger, the middle-left finger on the left upper side of my nail, started hurting like hell. It was EXTREMELY tender. It was swollen, kinda yellowing-looking cause the blood was being "pushed" out of the way. So, I wake up this morning, and find that that whole left side, from the top of my finger to like a half an inch down the side, was DARK GREEN. I was like, "Shit!!". So, I go into the kitchen, where I had been useing some sewing pins the day before for a...certain project, and lanced the part of the singer down pretty far. You can guess what happened...*SPLOOGE!*. All sort of green, slimy puss came flying out. Then it stopped. So I lanced it again in a different place. *SPLOOGE!*. I did this like 3-4 times, and then finally it started to just bleed. Now I have this like empty "bubble" of skin on my finger where I emptied the puss.

Point of the theead is, other than to rant about my "injury" ()", is to ask this: Has anybody ever suddenly come up with something wierd, that hurts or looks funny, etc., that they had no idea why the fsck it came to be?(not counting you, the dude with the wierd thing in his ear that was just plain nasty. )

dark green? I could understand white, but if its green it's prolly been there a long time growing moss or some crazy crap, that's just funky.

edit: the muscle thing was on that injury thread thing, guy rollerbladed into a glass wall/door, and glass tore his upperarm, and well, ploop.

Mebbe. The skin was VERY green, and the puss was a greenish-yellow. Nasty. But, like I said, it happened ALL OF A SUDDEN! Wierd.

dude, if i was you I would go to the doc... an infection like that in your fingers or hand can destroy tissue very quickly. most likely you need some serious antibiotics.

It does sound like a spider bite, and you need to get it looked at. I've heard of spider bites where the skin goes necrotic, like gangreen, and it starts to spread. Do yourself a favor and get it looked at.

When I was 13, at camp I noticed very mild pain in my leg after I played baseball or any athletic activity. However, I didn't really think of it as anything because I only felt it say a few times a week, it was very mild and it didn't last long.

I said something to my mom when I got home but we both shrugged it off.
Then, a few weeks later the pain got so bad while playing hockey I could barely scate.

I went to the doctor. He said it was probably just some muscle and he ordered me to have it massaged for a few weeks with baths every night for 2 weeks. He said just incase go take an x ray.

I go to have an x ray done and I know something is wrong because after the last x ray I end up waiting on the table for 20 minutes. I go outside and see the guy talking to my mom. They see a round circle about 7 cm in diameter.

I have to go take an MRI which is hell. It's 45 mins with no movement below the waist with this loud noise like a machine gun with infinte ammo. They give you these big headphones but they do no good. They even had to stick me with a needle so like it would come out clearer and I hate needles.

So the next day I go to this doctor and its like a place for all these kids with cancer and tumors and what nots. I go to him and I hate him. He wants me to take my boxers off and I'm like dude the pain is my lower thigh there is no way I am taking my boxers off.

He refers me to doctor Sameul Kenan at NYU. He's awesome. I learn I have a cyst which is a type of tumor. I have surgery 3 weeks later, just 5 days after my barmitzvah.
