I've got a Toshiba U205-S5002 which has a 945GM chipset. The recent Core 2 Duo article here on AT says that the 945GM supports Core 2 Duo. I need to find out now if the processor in my laptop has a PGA Socket-M or BGA CPU. I've checked Toshiba's support pages, but can't find any info. regarding the CPU's interface w/ the mobo.

Anyone have any info. regarding the U205-S5002's CPU interface?

Yeah, I've been looking for a service manual on their site, but I can't find one. Anyway, I don't actually have the laptop yet. I'm trying to choose between this Toshiba (U205-S5002):

or a HP Pavilion 6040US:

On a side note, I've noticed that these HP Pavilions are configurable on HP's site to include bluetooth, which would be extremely useful to me to have internally. I know HP's parts site sells these modules separately. I've seen that these HP Pavilions have an on/off switch for their wifi modules. If you choose to get blueooth as well, does HP put an on/off switch for the bluetooth as well?

Because if I go with the 6040US, I'd like to buy the bluetooth module from HP's parts site. But if it's supposed to have an on/off switch for the bluetooth, like it does for the wifi, then I'll just skip it because my 6040US wouldn't have that bluetooth on/off switch if I got the 6040US.

it should work, you might need a bios upgrade. Although some review sites say it isn't much of an upgrade from Core Duo.
