But now I see all these lamers using THIS sign.


It seems to ME that this is the opposite of the sign we used back in the day to protest war.

Is this the case?

If not, what does this supposedly mean?

This is one point when I'm left wondering about the wiki source. I can clearly remember being taught that in history class. Unfortunatly I can't think of any books that might help support that.

It was definitely taught but I can't find any source to definitely confirm it.

If I remember correctly, a backwards "peace sign" is the same as flipping the bird in the UK.
Many years of watching "The Young Ones" says it's true 🙂
