Ok, so I just completed Half-Life.

I killed the big baby brain alien guy, then I get teleported somewhere, then theres this guy in a suit...

Who is this guy? Was he in the game in the very begining? What is he talking about some job? The ending when you walk into the portal, he says I chose wisely, then the game ends. So this is like wide open for a sequel (Half-Life 2)? I'm guessing Half-Life 2 will pick up right where this left off? That might explain some stuff...

I think you missed some of the game. Go play again. If you google youll find all of these answers plus youll learn what the end boss was saying to you. Then you can put 2 + 2 togetherand youll understand what Gman was saying.

So he was in the game earlier? The voice acting for him was so great that I know I would have recignized it.

Quite a bit, actually, though that is the only time you come in contact with him personally. Did you use cheats/noclip or something? It's kind of hard to miss his appearances.

He was in multiple scenes in the game. Most behind glass windows and doors that you could not break. You sure you didnt by-pass any levels?
