OK, so I have an interview with MS coming up

I have a phone interview with them on Tue. Oddly enough my background is not at all in software, I am an EE and have next to no experience with large-scale software but I have a strong signal processing and telecom background. I'm kind of curious how I should approach this; the CV I sent them emphasized my DSP and telecom background.

Any suggestions? I realize this first interview will be mostly HR, so that makes things a little bit easier for me. Any suggestions are appreciated

I've a friend whose sister is a Microsoftie. She is fat, ugly, & w/less personality than a bag of rocks. But she was 1st in her class as an EE, a 3rd or 4th degree she picked up in her early 40's. MS hires can-do academic nerds. Little else matters.
