But they hardly gave me any coolant...

anyone know the ingredients to the coolant, or the equivalent mixture of water and auto coolant?

or any good place to buy coolant at?

Just chuck it all in then top with distilled/de-ionised water and your good to go.

The instructions said 3:10 coolant to water ratio

right now i filled it with 3 to 20 coolant to water ratio...
and it filled only the pump... The reservior is almost empty...
So just fill the rest of the reservior with distalled water? It wont hurt the system?

Ya...I noticed the same thing when I got mine. My dad and I were trying to figure out what we're supposed to do, so we e-mailed Thermaltake to find out. I saved my coolant mixture in some jars, so I'll let you know what they say. I really don't want to start my system up without any sort of cooling on the processor.

Water cools better than "coolant." The reason for an additive like "coolant" is to prevent the growth of algae and stuff in the water and to prevent corrosion in case you have both copper and aluminum in the system. So you want as much distilled water in there as possible along with just enough additive.
IMO the best combo is 95% distilled water and 5% corrosion inhibitor like Zerex Super Protectant.

That's what I'd do.

lol thx...

got a question what do you think of this setup?

is it a bad idea to put the radiator at the rear?

I noticed that my system temp went up by like 10 deg after i intalled it... Before the cpu was air cooled right under the PSU fan outtake...
but the first time the WC kit was installed it was put in the front of the case, so the hot air was being put to the front and dragged to the back...

so I figured this might help the case heat problem....

do you think its a good idea/ bad/ etc?

It's all about how well you can cool the radiator. I think you should make a tupperware shroud for the radiator and mount it so that the fan takes in cool air from outside the case. Pics in this thread- scroll down a bit.
Edit: I just noticed you said "system temp." I thought you meant cpu temp.

Pelikan was that a suggestion to lower my case temp?

Since I put it in the rear, my case temps have returned to normal...
I put two 80mm fans in the front to draw air in...

Godfather, when you said aquarius reserviors, you meant reserviors and not the pump/radiator right?
Cause the reservior is outside and I could care less other than my carpet ;D
but if you mean radiator or pump I would defnitely be more concerned

edit: btw that tupperware idea wont fit... my case is just a minitower

If the reserviors leak, you will be loosing water, enless your paying attention to it, it would cause damage if left without anything running through it!

It's a given fact that water cools better, like posted earlier, coolant is only used to prevent the growth of bacteria and to prevent it from freezing if it should ever happen. Which should be never, unless you're using liquid nitrogen... muwhahahah... :D

also hook up everything like it is supposed to be in the system but don't hook it in yet and let it run for 24 hours straight, and then check for leaks.

you might want to get a bigger case, those wires are not too organized and might give better temps, it looks a little crammed
