I ship via USPS, UPS or Fed Ex, Buyer pays $10 for 2 -3 business days shipping to 48 States in US. (USPS Priority mail or Fedex with tracking number)
You advertised as $10. Give him back $35.

that was for standard shipping. the guy wants it faster. why should the OP pay for that?

2 day falls within his advertised "2-3 business days shipping".

Remind me never to trade with you.

I sold my Logitech G7 to AT member jiffylube1024, he lived in Canada and USPS said that it would cost ~$12 to ship. He paid me and when I went to the Post Office and they charged me $7 for it. I paypal'd him the $5 back without ever thinking about it.

I am stating what I would do, not judging anyone else.

That's pretty silly. I'd like to point out that "2-3 business days" also equates to uncertain # of days, so 3 days or 5 days (or ever ) also falls within that shipping discription at the opposite extreme.

Jim

sounds to me like he agreed to pay the full 45 for shipping so its by all means urs if u gave it back i would view it as nice or some sort of random act of kindness

i doubt most ppl on ebay give back extra shipping money

I would give the man back his $15. It's quite obvious that it's a moral issue and it's bothering you. Pay the man back his $15 and you will not have a guilty conscience. It rare to meet "good" people in real life. Remember good karma comes back to you.

yeah, don't try to be stupid. give him the money back. he went that far to give you what you wanted, now be fair and give him what he would have done for you.

Well this situation is obviously going against your morals since you are bothered by it enough to post. So without a doubt give him the 15 dollars back and you'll feel better.

Well I decided to refund him $10 instead of $15 because the item really was worth $190 (another auction for the same thing just ended at $190) and that was the price I was originally willing to sell it for.

Its only 15 bucks, just give it back..

Feeling good about yourself/doing the right thing > $15.00

QFT!

In Goku/Phillipine mango's dictionary, the definition of feeling good about himself is to piss people off.

It's really worth exactly what your legally binding eBay contract's sale price was.

Well considering that I had to drive to the shipping place twice and had to ship the package in the wee hours of the morning and then rush to class because I had an early test that morning, I'm sure the $5 is justified. Basically speaking when I normally ship a package, I the buyer online buys the item, and I go and ship it out but because the buyer threw a wrench into the equation, I basically did "rush processing" much like newegg does.
