Why? well as the teacher said its no use going to the next level if you dont have the basics set in. I can get by the class with a an easy "C" and a "B" is a little more effort (need 99 points to get that).. but the problem is that its no use.

I did badly in between for some tests because I got nervous and lost it.. I am otherwise one of the top students in class execpt when it comes to writing tests in math.

Anyway now it turns out my friend chris is doing the same thing as me. We are going to take it again with her in the fall.

actually part of the reason I decided to get the F is because I am changing majors and I *do not* think I need that class for the new major. I have to check about the class to see if its required at my new major, its a fun class, but I dont think it would be needed.

So unless you get an A, you're going to take an F?

If you have a shot at a B, go for it. It's not worth the lost semester (or quarter). I dropped classes a lot in college, and it took me forever to graduate.

actually its not.. Sure I will have to retake it, but the logic is that I will know my stuff better. I dont think I can possibly get a 99/100.. its been way too long for me to be that accurate.

However under the circumstances a C would do, but I rather just retake the class if its needed. I see your argument, but even if its not needed I will retake the class and get it over with.

Plus if I leave now for school.. I will reach there 15 minutes after the exam started.

If you're going to retake the class anyways, why not try to get a C or a D?

It's stupid to take an F -- it will lower your GPA forever (I know -- because I did that once). In my school, if you retake a class you got a C or above in, then that grade is erased. But an F stays forever.

well if I get a "C" I cant retake it... but if I get an "F" it gets over written by the new grade and the "F" disappears (almost, its still there but its disappeared).
