ok screw this time to get a gun

I was about to turn off my light and goto bed and I hear a drumming noise. Really loud too. I go look out my window. Guess what the hell it was? Goddamn woody the wood pecker. There used to be one at my parent's house. I went out to my porch and threw a rock at him but he just stared and kept on pecking.

What kind of gun would dispatch this little pecker head(pun intended) really quick like?

Well, ok... a small bb gun ought to do it, but make sure you check your local laws before killing/hurting some defenseless animal (that's annoying the living crap out of you and won't go away)...

Save yourself a trouble and buy a paintball/pellet gun. A lot cheaper and easier to obtain - same damage to the poor defenseless creature

If it's a really big woodpecker, and you live in/around Louisiana, and it has a white bill, then you might have found the last of the ivory billed woodpeckers and you could make a goodly amount of money

Otherwise, any number of ways to take care of it; use something small like a bb gun.
