Why is it that everyone I know denies that they watch friends, but it's still the #1 rated show on television. Either those ratings are lying, or everyone else is lying. I admit it...I watch it and enjoy it.

My question is...

How many of you watch friends?
How many of you don't watch freinds?
How many of you deny you watch friends but really do watch it?
Why is watching friends seemingly "uncool" now?

i watch it. i still think J. Aniston is hot and i always laugh at Joey and Chandler's remarks.

I don't watch TV at all, so my answer is no, I don't watch it.

Or anything else for that matter.

In fact there is no antenna or cable input connected to my TV, just my DVD player.

I watch the show just about every night of the week at 7 on Fox. I sometimes watch the new ones, but usually it is just the repeats on Fox that I catch.

I watch it and proud to admit it. It's a great show. Written very well and it is very funny!

the only parts of it i have seen is when my wife watches it, but that isn't very often anymore, she watched it in the middle of its popularity, a few years after it started and she mostly quit watching it a year or two ago ~

Seinfeld is definately the standard by which all these shows are measured IMO. There will never again be a sitcom as good as Seinfeld.

I watched it when Chandler was funny, Ross was trying to bang J. Aniston, Phoebe's character was interesting, Courtney Cox -never liked her becuase her character is WB material, Joey was Joey the funniest of the bunch. NOW Chandler has that puffy drugged out look and he's not the funny geek that he was, Ross is a sniveling baby, Phoebe is no longer eccentric, she's just old, Courtney Cox UGH, Joey is still funny. Jennifer Aniston is eye-candy now and then. Take her and Joey away and you have a cancelled show. MHO.

i agree. it just wend downhill. too many 'drama' episodes now. they've done all the jokes so they resort to emotions. time for it to die. i watch all the old ones though...and hope they stay on. those are the funny ones.

I used to watch it before cause it was funny. I don't watch it anymore now because I don't think the show's funny or creative anymore. But a lot of people that I know watch it

I was never able to sit through an episode. I think I watched about 10 minutes of one once.. I prefer Seinfeld, myself, when I'm in the mood to watch a sitcom (which is almost never anyway..)
