I'm looking into getting that Chaintech board Anand gave the Silver to(?) and was looking to couple that with a good overclocking proc. Has anyone had any experience with the newcastle 2800? I've got a gig of Corsair XMS 3200 so I'm good there, and would also like to know if the RAID controller on that mobo works good or not. Thanks for any help you can give...

I'm getting that board with the 3000+.... I read on another site that the 3000+ OCs really well on that board, so that's a good sign :)

The A64 2800 isn't much of an overclocker, especially when comparing it to the 3000 and the 3200.

Hmmm, in the reviews of the board at newegg, they also talked about how the 3000+ is a good overclocker. I'll have to look into it some more.

It is; 2.4ghz is quite common with the 3000's.

Suhweeet. I suppose a better-than-stock HS/F is needed for overclocking. Any suggestions in that department?
