ok ok ok..... im going to get a DVD player for my computer

I think the noise is more important than speed, if it sounds like a jet fighter taking off, you better have good speakers 😀

My Creative 12x is on the edge, it's a bit noisy but just not too much. It just takes like four seconds to open the drive, it's driving me nuts :| 😉

here is three choice for ya
one for dvd ripping go for Poineer dvd16x
two for quite go for Toshiba 16x
three for watching dvd and coppy music for Lite on 16x (latest one)because Lite on 16x is current King of DEA
i don't know about Liet on 16x drive for dvd ripping so if you want to know more about it so go hereLink😉

I wouldn't buy any drive from Creative. I've owned 3 and they've all died around 8-13 months. I have the Pioneer 16x slot now and will never go back to a tray. This thing kicks ass, you won't be dissapointed.

<< well whats the best overall QUITE, fast and good at coppying AUDIO CDs? which one is OVERALL better? Thanks 😀 >>

Lite-On's 16x40x DVD-ROM is currently the FASTEST DVD-ROM at DAE (digital audio extraction; ripping audio CDs). It's also around $50 plus shipping at Newegg.
