i'm watching crank yankers and carl's jr (hardees for others back east, i think) runs a commercial for their "$6 burger." they're talking about how mcdonalds didn't win best new burger of the year, or jack in the box, or burger king. and that's fine. but then they continue and say in-n-out. and if you've ever been to in-n-out, you know they haven't had a new menu in 54 years. perhaps that's because in-n-out got it right the first time.
this is almost as bad as when carls introduced their new chicken strips by trying to make fun of other fast food chains (they showed a couple of scientists examine a chicken "looking for nuggets"). which wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't just replaced their chicken "stars" (their version of the nugget).
serves me right for watching live tv instead of letting the replay buffer it like usual.
