i'm watching crank yankers and carl's jr (hardees for others back east, i think) runs a commercial for their "$6 burger." they're talking about how mcdonalds didn't win best new burger of the year, or jack in the box, or burger king. and that's fine. but then they continue and say in-n-out. and if you've ever been to in-n-out, you know they haven't had a new menu in 54 years. perhaps that's because in-n-out got it right the first time.

this is almost as bad as when carls introduced their new chicken strips by trying to make fun of other fast food chains (they showed a couple of scientists examine a chicken "looking for nuggets"). which wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't just replaced their chicken "stars" (their version of the nugget).

serves me right for watching live tv instead of letting the replay buffer it like usual.

Carl's Jr. is the crappiest fast food place in existance, period.

Their food sucks.
Their commercials suck more than all other sucky commercials combined.
I wish they would just go under already, they're already doing poorly.

All that and I've never really had a bad experience there except for the food being below par...

Whenever I hear "Dont bother me I'm eating" followed by pictures of some pathetic excuse for a human being slobbering his/her fat lips all over a disgusting POS burger, it make me want to assault my TV with a baseball bat.

God, I hate every fvcking one of their commercials. I even like the food on occasion, I just hate the commercials.

In N Out is good. But nothing at In N out can compare to the Western Bacon cheese burger or the 6 dollar burger.

I don't know what's the big deal with In N Out. Two bread, cheese, Onion, lettuce, and a small piece of patty that's not even
1/4 lb even though everybody else is using 1/4 lbs these days. The only thing special about their burger is that they grill their bread
a little bit so it's a tad crispy.
Alot of people say they like In N Out because their burger are fresh.
I can't believe people buy into this our burger are made fresh and are fresher than the other guy's burger
bullsh*t. Think about, how is In N Out's burger any fresher than something at Jack In the Box or Carl's Jr? Do they kill the cows on the spot? In N Out is good, but they are waaaaay overrated.

agreed - double western bacon cheeseburger is simply one of the best burgers out there - 2 patties, cheese, bacon, onion rings, bbq sauce

you think it doesn't matter that everywhere else uses heat lamps and freezers? & their ingredients are delivered fresh every day. but if you can't tell the difference, then it doesn't really matter where you get your hamburger.

Ok...In N Out has really brain washed everyone into believing that their food are more fresh. So it's deliver every day. So what?
Look at the Main ingrediences.
Ground Meat - what makes In N Out ground meat more fresh than others? They all came from the freezer.
Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onion - I don't see In N Out Employees picking them straight out of the ground. If they're not doing that, I don't see how it's any more fresh.

Now the business with Heat Lamps. Very frew places use heatlamps on burgers. Yeah they keep the food warm for awhile. But I've personally never seen a burger setting there for longer than 3 minutes at Mac Donalds. Jack In the Box makes and Carl's Jr makes them as you order. Carl's Jr constantly roll out fresh patties from that little oven of theirs. I haven't been to BK for ages so I don't know about them.

Now this nonsense about their ingredients being delivered fresh daily. Everybody else does that also. Even in those few places that doesn't deliver daily, do you think there's a difference between frozen meat stored in a warehouse and then packed into a truck and frozen meat stored inside the fridge of a fast food restaraunt? What about the fresh Lattuce and tomatoes? Do you think those In N Out trucks pick em fresh out of the ground every morning and then pack it into the truck for delivery? I don't think so.

Don't buy into this FRESH Nonsense. They're not fresher than anyone else.

In-n-Out owns. I'll take a double double animal style over any burger from a fast food chain like Carl's, McDonalds, BK, etc.

They may not be as fresh as you claim, but they sure in hell taste better (IMO). :D

Don't buy into this FRESH Nonsense. They're not fresher than anyone else.

At the very least, they cut their potatoes right then and there for their fries. Which makes them fresher in one aspect, at the least. I also see them leafing their lettuce. And I thoroughly enjoy the soft spongy bread they use.

But honostly, even if it wasn't fresh, they still taste better. And if I want something charboiled, I'll go to Hamburger Habit.
