I thought this was widely known already. I remember I was in a bar on New Years Day in '96, Jesus came in looking pretty bummed. Apparently he was having difficulty getting a crowd of drones together and raising enough paranoia b/c everyone didn't expect the end of the world until 4 years later. I think he just said to heck with it all and moved to Malibu. Poor guy.
