Alright, now i can get into the BIOS, and the BIOS setup, but i when i go passed that to boot my harddrive up into Windows XP, the BIOS resets and starts the whole POSt again. It does this every time i try to boot into XP...

are you running everything on stock settings ??

That sounds like it may be a boot sector virus. Can you boot to safe mode?

If it's a virus, you may have to slave up your drive to another known clean machine and try to use that machine's AV and spyware remover progs to kill it.

thanks but i solved the problem. i did a repair installation of XP and it worked perfectly. But thanks for the suggestions :]
