Ok, notebook question... I have 2 grand to spend on a notebook...

all gaming notebooks are nice, but u absolutely have t have a 2-3 year warranty on it, completecare if possible, because if any small thing goes wrong, it needs to be sent back. After sales support is v. v. important with notebooks, ask anyone!!

acer is nice but the x1600 wont get u anywhere in current gen gaming market where even the 512mb gpu's are now reaching there limit! i have 2 dell notebooks, one of them, xps gen 1!

i would recommend e1705, but i have another better option,

try alienware mr9700, i checked it out for you. for your price range- alienware aurora m9700 is a v good option. you would have heard of the alienware brand name if you have been in gaming a lot, but if you have not, its a very well known and repected brand whose connsumer rating in support services has been rated better than any other brand. heres the link:
