So, now on Cape Cod and due to environmentalism or something, there seems to be a complete lack of u-pull-it junk yards, the yards wherein they let you into the yard to pull your own parts. This type of yard ends up being waaay cheaper than the kind that pulls the parts for you.
Anyway, I got quite used to the abundance of u-pull-em yards down in GA, so now that our '97 Camry has a corroded brake line, the one that feeds the rear brakes from the master cylinder, I want to go pull a line off a wrecked/junk yard Camry instead of having to pay Toyota the barrel of $$ they want for a new line.
So, any advice on where I can find any? I've tried, but most around the Cape aren't u-pull-it yards, at least from what I can find out anyway, and having a devil of a time finding any. I'd even broaden my driving radius to include lower NH or more just to get to a decent pick-n-pull yard.
Anyone know of any?
