And its causing my games to pause. It idles areound 62 and seems to stay at 82-84 during games. WHENEVER i get to there, it starts pausing. WTF? I have a 6800gt.

Why would it just start to do this? i havent done anything wrong, no OCs or anything. Any help? BFG btw.

sh!tty airflow? lots of dust in GPU fan? are you seeing any blotchy looking things on your screen? open up your case and let a floor fan blow on it and start playing again, see what happens. or even better... an AC.

Take off the HS and reseat it w/ AS5 or similiar thermal compound. You have been having way too many heat issues w/ that card. GPU might be making poor contact w/ the HS. Could have been like that from the factory. Check it out if you are familiar w/ how to do it.

I am, but i know it'd void the lifetime warranty. Think i should send in for a replacement? I mean, why would it just start happening out of no where?
