I bought two for just storage under the seats. I don't need first aid since I am immortal.

I will post pics up when done. Most forum idiots just say "THEY INSTALL NO PROBLEM!"...most forum idiots don't have them installed at least in North America since they take a tap or self-tapping bolts.

Got me a tap...y0.

Which website do you visit for your up-to-the-minute internet memes? yesterday you called me a brony and now you're clearly on the guise bandwagon.

Anyway, more to the point is there any use in carrying around things in a medical kit for which you have no clue in the world how to use? You really going to be field dressing severed arteries on the side of the road?

It's a good place to put yer gat yo!

Of course, the PoPo know this so you really aren't fooling anyone with your "med kit".

Alky... please... I enjoy reading the crap you get in your m3 updates, but can you make an "Alky's m3 thread" and keep these there? Even one of the other 4 people here with m3s would benefit from being able to skim that one thread rather than do a search and see 500 threads from alky about sticking a CF emblem on his hood

It makes no sense for us to have these individual threads for the install of an accessory box. Come on.

Oh and mine came with one under the passenger seat from the factory. It's a NA car.

Did your car come with a spare or are you relying on the goo and pump? (wait should I make a brand new thread to ask you this?)

Ahh c, this is where you'd be a bit wrong.

I was pre-med for a long time and did a lot of interning with a veterinarian which allows you much more hands on in surgery.

However, these are going to be used more for extra storage...I have insurance and a cell phone plus live medical treatment is available practically on every block here.

I have had to field mend myself though quite a few times. Never attempted sutures but I have had to tourniquet myself sometimes with duct tape and rush my ass to the hospital, I have quite a few scars.

There is no spare in any M3 AFAIK...I would not risk changing a tire on the side of our roads when even state troopers get run over with their lights on.

I have three roadside accounts at my fingertips that can get me help within 30 mins.

So we should have a thread for every make and model and require all related posts to be entered under the proper 'sticky'

please, just skip my threads if you don't want to read them.

WTF, this thread was locked and is now open again...

No, you should have one thread for most of your M3 related stuff.

So anywho...these compartments offer a ton of space. Oddly both inner bolt locations would not accept a M6x1.00 tap, the bolt stripped out.

I used a 3/8" headed 1/4" self tapping bolt the same size as the stock hardware. I think it was listed as 3/4", but the factory bolt with washer was just as long on the biting end of things.

Good use of otherwise wasted space.

I love me my M3...very utilitarian and practical car.

Self-tappers are great for stuff like that - no need to worry about drilling/tapping in the exact right location/etc...just run 'em in.

well most self-tappers are too long. I had to pay a bit extra for one's that had a tap on the end...a little like a dog ear bolt.
