Ok, Lowballers are idiots. Nuff said.

1. You cannot compare an opteron 165 that's now retailing for $330 (and say you can get for $260) and show an opteron 148 that's retailing for $270. Then just reply "OOPS" in a harsh manner.

2. You cannot show an amd 64 3000+ ~$110 and expect a 3200+ venice at the same price. Then come up and still ask later on for the same price.

3. Don't tell the seller to STFU *******.

4. Don't diss the seller.

Welcome to my DNT list.

Yes, it just happened 5 minutes ago rofl.

Edit: Ok. Fine. Since you guys seem to not know really what happened, here.

This dude PM's me once asking for $100 shipped on my 3200+ in thread. i tell him no. So then he comes back with $110? No. He comes with a hard forum thread. I tell him that's a 3000+, if you don't want to pay don't. So then he IM's me on AIM! He then asks even further to haggle, saying someone told him my deal is awful. Haggles further. He then tells me he wants a dual core, and then I ask him at what price? He shows me a single core at the price I bought my opteron 165, and then tells me "OOOPS." Then starts talking more and crap. So then I tell him look in Hot Deals and other threads, I attempt to help him. So then he calls me random racist words and some other words. So when I tell him about a hot deal, he asks for link, which he can easily find since I'm not on it. He then smartmouths me saying I'll bow to you, STFU and give me it. So I do, end up making my points clear, if you don't pay you don't, so leave me alone. Done.

You really should read it, no cliffs. If you think my grammar for the paragraph was crappy, I'll revise it, but it'll be around 2-3 paragraps lol.

I am extremely happy most of that post means absolutely nothing but gibberish to me now.

A few years ago I knew everything about hardware. Just proves I've got a bit of a life now.

I was selling a laptop on here last week. I had it for 225 + shipping. The buyer PM'ed an offer for 150 shipped. I did a search for his username and saw that he was selling a lower spec'ed laptop for more than 350.

Doesn't your life mostly involve being stalked by your on and off psycho ex gf?

Plenty of people know everything about hardware and have plenty of life.
That just proves you lack the capacity to do both. 😉

I don't want to have in depth knowledge of a computer, as far as I'm concerned for me computers should be used for bookkeeping software, typing papers, playing games and browsing the internet.

Thats why I'm happy I don't know anymore.

Anyone that takes trading that seriously and actually gets insulted when someone offers them money is REALLY REALLY SAD.

Welcome to my DNT list.

i love it when people actually think their DNT list means something. like a person would give a fvck whether in the one in a thousand chance you might deal with them, you won't. boo frickin' hoo. he already isn't offering enough money anyway.

Agreed, put *firm* in your posting if you do not want to accept low ball offers. If you say OBO you have no right to get upset if they offer a price that is too low for your liking.

I did... put it as a main rule lol...
I did not. put obo.

I do hate low ballers. What's worse is when you work retail, in a mall, and people come in trying to haggle with you over the price. Do you haggle with the clerk in the super market over the price of milk too? Jeez.

Exactly. Simply refuse the offer and move on.

It depends. If it's some piece of clothing, then it's bad. But if you're selling high-end receivers/TVs, I don't see anything wrong with that. The cost of milk is neglible and the margin on that is also minute so there's not that much room to "haggle" (I prefer the term negotiate). All you just have to do it to say a firm NO, and people will back off.

Well arn't you just the reformed geek hipster. Though I hear ya, a computer is a tool. The good ole days of hacking computers for fun are long gone.

But my original statement still stands, you can have indepth knowledge of many things and still have a life.
