Ok lol I really want an Acura TL

What a sexy car. I've been driving my trusty 1987 Honda Accord for a long time. well over 228,000 miles and still going strong. But I think it's time I upgraded. 😱
Of course, it's going to be a while till I get a new car, but thats the way I am any time it comes to me getting anything new.

So, what does eveyrone think of the Acura TL?

I ended up get an Acura TSX because I prefered the way the TSX handled compared to the TL. I think the TL look sexier but you should really test drive both cars before you make a decision.
 
It is a nice car, but what exactly are you looking for in a car? Is a new/used TL the price point you want? Sprorts or luxury or both?
 
My mom just got a new TSX. It is really nice and cheaper than the TL. We were considering the TL also but decided to get the TSX.
 
Probably used. And I would like to have sport and luxury, so I think the TL is exactly what I was looking for.

Hmm I thought the TSX was more than the TL but I guess not?

AH yeah the TL is more. And the TSX looks really nice too.
 
I want me a TSX with a manual transmission soo badly but of course, I have no money to buy it. The TL is bigger, probably has more features but the TSX is so sweet. Plus, it is more sporty to drive. If I had to choose, it would be the TSX or the RL, and since the TSX is half the price of an RL, the TSX it is ... or until I have money to get it, heh.

The TSX is sportier and about 5 grand less.

You say sportier, but it's MUCH slower.

I own a TL (I hate it) and I've been given loaner TSX-S-types, and they make a lot of noise, but don't really go. I'm not saying the TL is a rocket, it's far from it. But it's a lot faster than a TSX.

That being said, the TSX FEELS much nicer and tighter to drive. If they would just put the V6 in it, they'd have something.

I own a TL (I hate it) and I've been given loaner TSX-S-types, and they make a lot of noise, but don't really go. I'm not saying the TL is a rocket, it's far from it. But it's a lot faster than a TSX.

That being said, the TSX FEELS much nicer and tighter to drive. If they would just put the V6 in it, they'd have something.

They are very nice cars, and I would love to have one for a daily driver/long trip cruiser.

The resale values on them are pretty crazy though. Only a couple grand off of new. At least with a G35 you can get a $5,000-$8,000 discount on a year old one. Not so with the TL. You'd be lucky to get a $3000 discount on a year old one.

 
my brother just got himself a new white TL. the TL is sweeet!

I love the way it looks. Its got nice gadjets too (ie bluetooth, LED headlights, 8" touchscreen GPS)

Think my bro paid around $35K
 
My parents recently purchased a TL and it is a really nice car. They looked at the G35 and IS350 for comparison, but the TL gave the most bang for the buck. The TL was purchased for around $32 fully loaded with GPS. The G35x with GPS was going to run closer to $37k and the IS350 loaded goes well over $40k. If you want a performance type car, I would suggest looking at the G35 coupe.

The car has HID headlights. LED headlights are still years off and have not been DOT aprroved yet. You are probably referring to the tail lights and side markers. Also, if he paid $35k, he didn't negotiate a dime because that's sticker.

Hmm, you were given a car that doesn't even exist. There is no such thing as a TSX Type S. 😕
