Ok, just picked up a canon S2 IS for $159

Got it for $159 on clearance, originally for my mom, but now that I'm seeing all the rave reviews for it, and how excited people here get about it, I'm wondering if I should keep it and give her my sd550?

I usually just flick the knob to auto and push the button to take pics.

I want to learn more about taking good pics, anyone have a direction to point me in? I don't know how to google.

Haven't used one, but it looks like a good buy from the reviews and sample photos.

Holy hell what a price!! Keep that sucker, the S2 is a fantastic camera. Owned one myself before I decided to go DSLR.

I've been deciding between the S2 and the S3 for some time now. I know both are excellent cameras and the S3 only has a few benefits - more mpixelage, and better video quality. it also costs several hundred dollars more.

maybe i should go with the s2... any thoughts?

DAMN! I just purchased an S2 IS within the last two weeks and I sure didn't get it for that price. 🙁 Nice find! It is a great camera. I'm still learning about all of the functions.
