looks like i'm getting an alpha, i checked out those reviews, but they are really pointless since they are comparing apples to computer monitors... err oranges.. basically i've got my pc setup whisper quiet and those thermalright got their results so high mainly because of the high speed fans they are using. alpha got almost same results using lower speed fans.

they should of used the same fan across all the heatsink, that would be a great comparasin of the heatsink. i really don;t care about the fan.

Yeah, its too bad they didn't use the same fan with all the heatsinks. Or better yet, a variety of fans with them. But anyways, you would get better results with a thermalright and a quiet fan that with an alpha.
I used to have an slk-800 with a panaflo L1A (21dB, 24 cfm). It was able to cool a 2500+ @2400 MHz, and 1.9V.

I have had two 2600Ms so far, results on the same system;

2.5 @ 1.75V
2.5 @ 1.85V

Unfortunately, the cpu runs much hotter with just the .1V increase. I may try a third one soon. I am using a ghetto, giant aluminum HS with a panaflo.

Yeah, but that's quite a bit better than 12.5x200 would be. I hope the mobile 2600 that I just ordered will do 220 fsb.
