i'm feeling too lazy to test her out, and just want to get straight into it a bit later on this evening 😉

Cheers folks

I'm running a system similar to yours, except my is OC'd higher. Anyway, I'm using a crt, so I play at 1024 with 4xAA. Most settings are medium, except textures, those look like crap at medium settings, so I put them on high. Draw distance is 90%. Also, I turn off dynamic shadows, those cause some weird shadow aliasing (at least in the BF2 demo version I'm using).

System in sig, I run 1280x960 with terrain on high, everything else on medium and max view distance with good framerates (45+). If I go to high textures, the fps stay the same, but the game gets choppy. This is where the 2 gigs of memory that everyone's talking about comes into play. Since I'm on a single channel A64, I'm considering adding another stick of memory for 1.5 gb. Only thing holding me back is the fact that the texutres in BF2 all kinda suck, low/medium/high. The building textures on smaller structures are just horrendous for a game with these kind of requirements imo.

I run BF2, with the 4.12 ATI drivers and I put everything on High settings, and 4xAA and I get around 40fps and 30fps in lots of action.
