I have a biggass (2.5gig) file from a recording session (which is all done on macs) that has .wav files in it that I want to open in windows. Basically the only way I could see it was to use isobuster which would show a .tao file. After un-isoing that it makes a bin file which I then used fireburner to convert it to .wav, but that completely did not work. (wouldn't play, was about 2.5 times as long as the recording [~ 1.5 hr]). It was recorded using protools. I can't open it with protools because A- I don't have protools, and B- you have to have hardware along with it, so that's not an option. What else should I try? Would nero open it? (which I don't have)

Hmmm. The only thing I can think of is that you should try to network those machines and send the wave files to the PC.

Another possibility: do you have a router? Connect a PC and the Mac with your files to the same router, then install Yahoo! Messenger on both machines. In my experience, when you have a setup like that, you can send 2 GB files from one machine to another as attachments to Yahoo! Mesenger messages.

I haven't worked on Macs in a long time... aren't wave files called .aiff on Macs?

Weell, it actually is already on the pc. It was recorded to a mac dvd at the recording studio, I brought it home to my bro's laptop (which has a dvd player) , transfered it to my pc over the network (cause mine doesn't have a dvd drive) opened it with isobuster(which was the only program I could find that would see a file, any other programs?) But have had no luck since then.
