Ok, I've ordered one of those ClearView clear panel for my case, how else can I dress up my PC?

I've experimented with the flat black paint (with the panel I'm replacing) and it came out real good actually. When it dried I held it up next to my tv and stereo and it was a perfect match. But I don't know if I will use black... I may do some funky paint scheme, like a dark blue to light blue fade from bottom to top. I am also interested in one of those little LCDs' that display temp, track info, etc... Suggestions?

I like the Digital Doc 5, which has a neat LCD display with an amber glow in the background. Looks very sweet in the dark. Also has lots of fan-controlling features that allow you to have a fan turn on/off when your case reaches a specific temp. There are several sensors that attatch to this unit that measure the temps quite accurately.

A good set of bright LEDs for HDD/power activity always give a nice, custom look to a case.

Cold Cathode lights are a nice way to finish off a case like yours.

Good luck and happy modding!

Look at cold cathode, get some rounded cables, some wire tubing(to cover up wires), cut out some blowholes, add some of those new special fan grills(like the punisher, that one rocks), and add a cool case sticker.

You can always get an eq or some form of sensor that will output some leds or what not.

I saw a cool case in Maximum Pc a couple of months ago where the guy made a skull come out of his case and the eyes glowed red.

I'm in the modding phase right now too but I'm not sure how far I'm going to go. If I had seen this premade case before I ordered the case that I just sent away for, I would probably have bought that one(it is a black Chieftech? case with a green L shapped side window and a fan on the side with the Punisher fan grill). The case cost about $180 w/o psu.. but a very cool case.

Hehe I don't want to screw up my new case with a dremmel cause I would probably get the holes cut in it for a window or a new fan and figure out that it wouldn't fit or that's not the place that I wanted to have it anyway.

Well, I'd paint the ClearView panels so it doesn't look like I have a hole in the side of my box... :)

Can you guys post links on what you're talking about? I've never heard of all that and I may be interested in designing my next case...

Thanks!!

I just ordered that flexible blue string light from CoolerGuys. That'll add some flare...I better post a new topic for my next question.
