Ok is this chicken pox?

Ok my daughter has broke out in little spots today. I am thinking chicken pox! we called the doctor and they said it is possible but it could be an outbreak because she had tosenlites the other day. so is this chicken pox?

it doesn't look like she has any on the face or arms, which would be unusual for chicken pox

it might be Roseola (my wife says)

better get her checked out on monday by your doctor

oh i don't know about that. But there are a bunch of more experienced parents then me. They may know right off hand what it is. Not to mention i wouldn't be surprised if there are a few doctors. Some mighty smart people on OT.

i read about the spots. They arent the same. It says the spots turn white when touched. WE tried that and it they didnt blanch as that article puts it.

It doesn't look like chicken pox to me. My little girl just had that a couple of months ago. You should see a lot more spots on the face if it was chicken pox.

our son had 5ths disease when he was 5, and it looked like that. he had it bad on his face and arms. heat would definately make it worse, also. doc just gave us some cream to help with the itching, and said let it run its course. about 4-6 weeks. freaked us out the first time it popped up, as it was red as fire.

it looks like just an allergic dermatitis.... she will get more of the rash all over, and it will slowly resolve over 2-3 days... could be from a a new laundry detergent, or a new cleaning product in the house
