Usually when asked to justify it they say it's because the pregnancy wasn't the woman's 'fault'. That rationale indicates it is very much about control because how the woman became pregnant should be irrelevant.

Not to mention that whenever someone says they think a fetus is a baby like any other they are obviously lying or are a psychopath. After all we all know if a normal human had the ability to save a million fertilized embryos (babies!) or one actual baby everyone would save the actual baby.

And didn't forget, there are real world examples of this happening.

Honestly all it takes is for you to tell a prolifer you had a miscarriage vs your baby died.

It seems obvious. A law that's 100% unenforceable, makes wet dreams a crime, and will cause a blue balls epidemic if there was some way to enforce it. Your average 14 year old would be facing a life sentence within a month.
