Ok, I need to vent

They jacked my few months old Alpine MP3/CD head unit. They broke my driver-side vent window to get in and popped my hood and unhooked my battery.

Now today I had to call the police, insurance and file claims. Can't get the vent window fixed till after the claims people see it on Wednesday. Man, this sucks.

My sympathies. I would've just left the window open, let them take it, but that's hindsight.

yeah, me too...they did the same exact thing to me too...broke the window, popped the hood, and disconnected my battery....grrrr...

It was a 2002 Honda Accord Sedan Special Edition...

I only parked to grab my hockey equipment and to get something to drink. One hour time frame... sigh.

I hear the pain...

I've had my 1998 Civic broken into twice in 3 years. The second time was the worse. Had to have been an amatour. #1 they tried to pry my door open with a screwdriver and only managed to break off some of my window trim. #2 they tried to pry off my doorhandled but only managed to make a dent in the door panel a dent that quickly started to rust. #3 i guess they became frustrated and simply broke the window. #4 they took my $140 stereo. #5 they managed to break my ac/vents... It sucks.
