I hate powercolor so fvcking much.

Ok now with that off my chest, i could get a 9250 for about $50 AUD, a 9550 for about $90 AUD, or a 6200 (256mb, 128bit) for about $120 AUD...I want to still be able to play farcry at 1024 if thats possible, and will be overclocking whatever i get as hard as i can ;)

What are my chances of unlocking the 6200's other four pipes?

geforce2ultra or gts//geforce 2ti/geforce mx4xx/mx4000<-around $20-40

will run farcry at 10x7 in dx7 path though it wont be prety at medium settings.(trust me, i've tried it, lightmaps and water dont look too good, but it's utterly smooth and playable)

as fro unlocking 6200 pipes, i dont know the exact percentage,but it's higher than a 6800 unlocking 4 pipes and a vs(50/50 for 6800)
just go for cheapest, i mean the rma might take 2 weeks max right?

well, if you do manage to unlock the pipes and oc that sucker(6200), say bye bye to the 9800pro as it would be comparable in performance. a 62000 unlocked at 500/600 would be around as fast asa 9800 pro so there is a overlap.

How many times have you had to send in your 9800 Pro? For the same thing each time?

overheating (artifacts/texture corruption) in three of them (in a well ventilated 3 fan case), and two were actually kinda my fault (a directx 9c corruption, but only in certain circumstances, only in certain games, only found out what it was when i bought a HDTV tuner recently and it wouldn't work, had to reinstall windows to fix that :p)...

Wish I could sell you my 6600gt since I'm getting a 7800gtx soon. Too bad I have no references or anything and trust no one :p (Also the whole shipping to Australia thing...)
