Ok, I give...why do people say Thermaltake Chrome Orbs suck? Dealt with jittery Staples sales guy over this...

I was in Staples today buying a new modem, cuz my old one fried, and the sales guy asked my what kinda of computer I had to which I responded that I built it. Then he got all excited and started bragging about his machine a 1.2Ghz OCd to 1.35. He was starting to scare me cuz he must of had about 200 cups of coffee or something and was being all jumpy and loud, talking fast and rambling....Anyway he asked what kind of HS/F I had and of course I told him Thermaltake Chrome Orb. He like almost freaked. I told him my Duron that Im overclocking was doing just fine with it, not even crackin 100F in an apartment with no air in the summer heat and under a load. He told me that it won't be good for Athlons. What? I thought they were ok? SHould I get something else? He said something about Glaciators, which I know are good ones...
Suggestions? I don't want to mess up the 1.3Ghz Athlon I just bought...

I don't know how stupid the employees are at staples, but judging by how electronics stores like that are always wrong, and your duron works just fine, don't listen to the coffee freak.

Yes the guy was right,Chrome orbs really SUCK.

lol...well...if u search the forums...the general consensus is that anything associated with "orb" is bad

neways...ball bearing fan/heatsink combos are probably best...
