What is the cable that connects your floppy to mobo called? I have almost everything for my new comp except the mobo/cpu (waiting for a7v266-e if it comes out soon enough). Anyway I'm trying to make sure I have all the parts when I go to put it all together. It would really suck to start to put it together to realize I'm missing a part and have to wait another week. I have looked on sites like newegg and don't see a cable with discriptions that seem correct.. does this cable come with mobo? it didn't come with the floppy drive so... :(

It's called a Floppy Drive cable... And don't worry, one will come with your motherboard.

thanks... thought I was going nuts. No one seems to sell a floppy cable or anything with discriptions that sounded right. Now if asus would just ship that mobo...
*looks out window* "I wish I may, I wish I might, get me that dam mobo tonight!" lol

Heh, at least you have yours on order. No one seems to have my MSI K7T266 Pro2.

I really don't know why the floppy survived for this long. I only use it for testing now. It's much too small to be useful these days.
