Just remember the rule for alcohol:
Liquor before beer, you're in the clear.
Beer before liquor, never been sicker

Chug? Just sip it. Tequila is very delicious and deserves to be sipped. Of course, I'm talking about Patron Anejo and Platinum. Very decent tequilas.

Glenlivet 15 is pretty decent scotch.

i sip it, if it's bad tequila then yeah chug it, but if it's good tequila it's not cool to chug it.

wild turkey is pretty high in alcoholic content. Good for whiskey sours and other cocktails, but not so good by itself imo.

i personally do vodka up or tonic.

1) Crown Royal & Coke.. or straight :)

2) If you can find it; Soju.
You will forget about your whole day after some of this; possibly the next day too! :D
I remember while stationed in South Korea, many nights I totally forgot how I got back on base while drinking it up off base in Dongducheon (also called Tongduchon).

Most of my favs have been mentioned... I'm German/Irish, so I can handle my booze... :)

Long Island
Captain Morgans and Coke
Jack-n-Coke
Margaritas (or upside down w/girls boobies poking you in the back of the head is best!) :)
Amaretto and anything... Sour/Coke whatever
Whiskey sour
Vodka and Cranberry
Tequilla shots w/lime

Never had the taste for beer, and that's a good thing. I'm one of the few people I know that LOST WEIGHT in college! :)

It is in fact not that expensive, but it is a decent step up from the bottom shelf bourbons. Try a single barrel sometime.

Amaretto + Coke tastes exactly like cherry coke. It's a little less pussified than an Amaretto Sour. For a more manly drink, rum and coke tastes good. If you're a true man, straight rum shots

Try a Long Island Iced Tea also, they're yummy

If you never drank alcohol before 21, why start now?

If you must, drink beer with friends, drink cocktails with biatches, and drink hard liquor at clubs.

At least you drink to unwind. All I've seen are drunks drinking cases at a time to fit in or for the sake of intoxication. I'm happy unwinding with a coke.

I'm about 60% German, and I don't like beer all that much.

Just remember that drinking to unwind is the first step toward alcoholism. Today you're just drinking to unwind after a long day, but years from now you may be drinking after normal or even good days just to stay normal. Just be careful.

It's not about getting drunk or being cool. For me, it's about coming home from a very long day, kicking off my shoes, pour a glass, put on some music and unwind.

That being said, I would like some suggestions on what I should try. So far I've had Bailey's Irish cream (local shop had the .75L for $18, not bad by the sound of it) and I really like it but I'm willing to try new things. :)

So tell me some of your choice drinks and what you like about it. (taste and all that good stuff.)

Drinking alone = bad, unless your a girl drinking a glass of wine to relax after a hard day

Anything Bell's Beer. Seriously one of the best micro brews I've found. I stopped drinking import beers once I found Bell's. But it's a midwest only beer.

Otherwise.

Crown Royal is good for sipping on the rocks or with some sour.

Tequila wise I goto .30-30 Reposido or Blanco. Good sipping tequila for sure.

Thunderbird FTW!!!! (Its bum-wine if you dont know)

Honestly, try some 100 proof unflavored Smhirnoff Vodka, preferablely straight, but its pretty good mixed with rootbeer.

I'm 25% Czech and 75% mix between German and Irish (aka I'm a mutt). But you both have saddened me by defiling my idea of a perfect world, where everyone German and/or Irish lives in either pubs or beerhalls, being served pint after stein of wonderful beer by buxom wenches and elegant red-heads.

Long live the  !
