ok...how the heck do I get this stupid recycle bin off my desktop?

Yeah, it's a pain. I *think* that TweakUI can get rid of it, but I'm not 100% sure.

I never have any icons on my desktop. The recycle bin has been the sole survivor for about 3 years now.

I usually have a few programs that I actually use in my quicklaunch bar. Other than that I can click on start if I want to fire up a program.
