I just bought a phone from one of my friends and im not sure that the battery is functioning properly, is there a phone number i can call that will just keep either ringing or it will answer and no one will be there so i can test my battery?

i wasn't sure how to word it so if you didn't understand sorry

Call a Fry's electronics if there is one in your area, I've noticed that their phones usually just keep ringing if no one answers, no machine, no automated menu.

set it to vibrate and then go to a ring selection screen and continually make it vibrate manually

The automated time/temperature phone numbers (like "NERVOUS" in the Boston area) don't just go on indefinitely anymore.

I'm guessing you don't have a landline to test this with. Know anyone with a secondary VoIP line they dont mind tying up?

Why not set your phone to vibrate and then call it from your house?

call your house?

cant my parents are asleep and i cant keep the base unit from ringing

Do you have call waiting? Call some random 1-800 number on your home phone and then call your house with the cell. Switch to the incoming cell phone call on your home phone and let it sit there.

w/e its fine i know that something is wrong now i called my voicemail for three minutes and one battery bar went down do u think that the battery is shot or the phone is messed up?

Just leave it on and turn of the backlight settings?

Just leave the phone off the hook. Call it and just keep ringing the busy tone, assuming you have enough minutes to do this...

Call Comcast's tech support line. That should keep the phone occupied for about an hour before anyone answers.

Dammit, two minutes too slow 🙁
