I remember a shooting game, it was one of the first I believe. You held a gun and shot at bad guys who would pop out, and had to avoid shooting the good people. We are talking way back, like 15 years or so, can someone help me remember the name of this dang game?? It's been driving me crazy. :p

TIA!

Lethal Enforcers! HAH! What a n00b. You must have been born in the 80s!!!!

I think Crossbow was the first "shooting" game, although, the crossbow was mounted on the game and you couldn't hand-hold it. I was much better at Hogan's Alley b/c I didn't have to stand on a stool and try to aim from a site that I could barely reach.

Hogan's Alley ruled!!! was wishing i was the only one who knew the answer though :(. really after i started playing pc games, first person shooters are the only games that entertain me anymore. used to think i was the best at everything but i rarely play anymore.

Ok, can anyone remember this arcade game then?

You drive around a police car and in each mission, you have to catch a certain criminal in a certain amount of time. I believe you have to ram him until he gives up and there's no shooting because you never get out of the car. One thing I do remember is that you can drive through donut shops and get more time. I think it originated in the late 80s.

edit: I forgot to add that its a sitdown game and there's a steering wheel in front of you. Not sure if there are any pedals though...

Supersix, yes, thats what I remember. I remember loading that thing up with quarters and shooting the hell out of the poor lady in the window. Teach her to stick her head out to see whats going on. :p I also was thinking about Spy Hunter too, that was another one of my favorites. Jeez, now I really feel old.

Hehe.. When I was in the business, I put one of these in a Post Office break room.. Had to pull it out, they didn't want any shooting games there.. :p

I ended up putting in a Ms Pac, Galaga, and Burgertime. :D

I was in the arcade business when Space Invaders came out.

If I was one of your customers....you're probably a rich man now. I would love to have all those quarters back.....

It sure was fun putting up the high score and beating your friends. Seeing my initials on the score board hours later was for some reason a rather big deal...

Oh well, it got me off of the pinball addiction...
