I need to track down this troll but I lost his address..deadaim didn't save that convo I had with the troll in the logs for some reason. My only reference was the address I wrote on the package, but that's now long gone. Is there a way to get the address you shipped to after it has been shipped?

If you have his name on the board perhaps there is a link to his heatware, and you could contact another trader he's traded with for his info.

nevermind, too far away, can't help.

I gues you have to find his address and call the local police department.

no, we both had no heatware or ebay feedback at the time, so we agreed to cross-ship.

Upon reading the thread at HardForum, it hasn't been long enough to begin taking these measures. Appears only to have been 10 business days. Once had a piece of mail (containing a money order) take over four weeks (from Indiana to Nyc) before I received it. Was postmarked on the precise day the trader had sent it - just lost in the shuffle at a post office somewhere. It unfortunately happens.

Fortunately in my situation, the specific trader and I kept up good communication. We eventually resorted to PayPal, and he began the claim process through the postal system. The money order arrived a few days later. Would have a bit more patience, and attempt to reach the trader through the channels you've had success with prior to prematurely jumping to a conclusion.

That's the thing. He has constantly ignored me. I know he's there, he's on AIM almost everyday (I check with a different screenname since it appears that he has blocked mine). I IM him, he never replies. That's troll-like activity wouldn't you believe?

Use email, and forum messaging instead. Better for tracking purposes should this actually become a troll issue.
