That was a nasty gruesome play. From what I remember:

LT jumps to sack Theismann.
Joe sees Harry Carson (IIRC) coming to sack him and steps up to avoid it.
LT grabs Joe as he's falling, but is falling behind Joe.
Joe's back leg is still planted as LT falls on it.

And then the most gruesome part, Joe retires and becomes a pretty bad announcer.

Lol I remember seeing that, it was the first game of the season and iirc it was Ronnie Lott who hit him...? It ruled, the camera showed the announcers after the replay and they all looked pale & sick :D

Edit: whooops, was Ken Norton Jr., guess a decade and a lost interest screw with the memory. Found the info here.

I don't care how many times I see that, I will still cringe just the same, every time. I think part of my dinner's coming back up :Q
