meci has aura aspect30's paired with a 30W RMS wooden subwoofer for $50 + shipping. the part # at meci is 220-0303 and there shipping is quite reasonable.

at lower volumes i was very surprised to see their mids and highs almost as good as my midiland s2-4100s (which in turn kill the klipsch promedias) i would take one of these babies over plastic cased and paper coned altecs anyday...
JFYI, i have owned several sets of altecs (acs48, acs54, acs56, acs45.1, acs305) and fps1000 so i know what their sound quality is like.
