here is what I want to do. run a dual boot with 98se and win 2000

here are my drives

c: win98 FAT32 13gigs
d: nothing yet FAT32 30 gigs

I have 98 allready installed on my C: drive. now do I just boot off my cdrom with the win 2000 in the drive and install that to my D: drive? rember I need to be able to capture more than the 4 gig limit that WIN 98 has. thanks so much

ya i should think so. i am running dual boot and both my c and d drives are larger than 4 gb. actually i am not sure what you meant by the 4 gb limit in win98.

the 4 gig limit is whan Im capturing from my camcorder to my PC in AVI format there a 4 gig limit on capturing in win98se. But I have heard that win 2000 you can capture all you want. I guess I need more of a ezpert ;) no offense to you. im new at this all myself.

hey is that a seprate physical drive? i dunnno if win2k easily will grab a bootable section from another physical drive, it didn't for me. now i am trying to get 5-7 os's to boot from win2k's boot loaader, not too too easy. . might try a 3rd party loader

ArkAoss yes 2 drives. I dont care if I just use win 2000 for video editing alone.
