Pedal Across Lower Michigan starts up Sunday, June 21, 2009. We'll be going through:

Whitehall
Grant (50 miles)
Stanton (57 miles)
St. Charles (100 miles)
Vassar (63 miles)
Marlette (59 miles)
Lexington (33 miles)

If you live in Michigan, maybe you'll see me in Lycra.

OK Freewheel was last week, 520 miles from Texas to Kansas. 70+ daily mileage.

I cycled across lower Minnesota with a representative once... It was pretty cool.

That's a day-to-day mileage with optionals. The standard routes are shorter, and don't include a Century ride. Camp each night.

Cool, I was biking around MI with my brothers but had to cut it short after a couple of days because the youngest's bike was falling apart. Have fun!

PALM is on country roads. If there is a car coming from behind, people yell "carback" so everyone upstream rides single-file.

While riding through Oklahoma, a guy was hit by a truck -- and the truck sped off. To the truck's defense, the guy was an amateur, inexperienced biker that drifted far left as the truck passed.
