I am looking at this LCD at Newegg for $ 299. Looks like a good price.

Anybody have this or know how good it is for Dvd viewing and occasional gaming?
 
it's OK for gaming and dvd viewing....BUT, i would recommend you in getting a monitor with a dvi plug (better quality) and maybe lower response time (8ms?). Take a look at the Samsung 930B/913T (Note: some Samsung monitors do not include a dvi cable, which means you would be required to buy a dvi cable if you wish to have better quality. Also, dvi cables would only work if you have a video card that supports it (most/even low end quality video cards would support it)
 
Well, I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra that I like and has'nt given me much trouble. So, basically it would
be better to spend the extra fifty bucks. Lol, 299 looks so much less than 345. Newegg knows it's marketing.
