My radeon LE has finally died, not that i will miss it, and i need a new card.
I have narrowed the choice down to a few Geforce 2's, cus i cant really be shelling out a lot of cash.

The choices are as follows, all from Newegg.

LEADTEK GEFORCE2 TI 64MB - 116$
VisionTek Xtasy 5864 (GeForce2 Ti Graphics Chipset). 64MB - 127$
Hercules/Guillemot 3D Prophet II Geforce2 Titanium 64MB AGP with Tv-Out - 130$
Gainward/Cardexpert GeForce 2 TITANIUM Ti / 500 XP, 4ns 64MB DDR , VIVO, Golden Sample - 139$
GAINWARD/CARDEXPERT GEFORCE2 Ti450 GOLDEN SAMPLE 64MB (NO TV-OUT) DDR 4.5ns - 99$

TV-OUT is irrelevant to me, and so is price, so long as its not over 139.

Gaming is my big thing and i have gotten used to the good 2d quality of the Radeon. I understand the Leadteks and the Gainwards and the Visontek have good 2d. Other than that i really dont know which would be best. I have been an ATI fan for awhile and havent been keeping up with Nvidia's stuff so any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

i am going with the gainward geforce 2 ti vivo because i need video editing options...if you do not need those...i would say go with the leadtek because the price is low but has the same feaures as the rest...

I suggest you choose Gainward, cause it has good 2D/3D quality since GeF2 GTS & GeF3; and has competitive pricing. ;)
Hercules is a very good card but an expensive one, even its GeF2 MX ! So does ELSA! :Q
ASUS is good in 3D but "bad" in its 2D quality
Visiontek has an average quality, same as PNY
Leadtek? Is it Leadtek Winfast?
In my view Leadtek has the same "undergrade" quality, as "poor" as MSI and Powercolor! :(

Have msi-8831 GeForce2 GTS Pro. Nope didn't get it at Newegg. Best I've seen, ATI, etc included...in its price range.

BTW, Newegg isn't the only place to shop..LOL!

No vid editing here, tho.

Max gaming only.

For what it's worth.....

Thanx for all the advice guys, gonna bump this and wait one more day before i choose.

So the gainward and the leadtek both have good 2d? Seems they are the 2 companies i will choose from. What is the main difference in the Ti models and the 99$ non Ti? If you could link me to some benchmarks of those 2 id appreciate it.

And also noone has said anything about the visontek card, how is it?
