Yes folks it is once again the middle of the summer, and some of you...you know who you are apparently are too stupid to live...why you ask?

Well apparently you forget how hot it is and leave your kids and/or animals in the car.

The news has to tell you not to do that.

Morons....any smart person knows the best place to leave your pets/kids is in the trunk so they can be out of the sun.

When I lived in Phx the local TV was also flooded with PSA's about watching your kids around the pool. It seemed there was a story every week where a toddler drowned.

It's really too bad that nature didn't work in such a way so that the negligent parent dies and not the child.

Heh I remember some report where there were suggestions for not leaving the baby in the car. One was to put the cell phone with the baby when traveling. That way when you realize you forgot it, you would find the baby when you went to get it.

Are you serious? People actually remembered they forgot their cell phone before they remembered they forgot their child?

A 11 month old just died out here because of this. (temps have been about 95-110)

The kid fell asleep in the carseat ( like they always do ), dad forgot and went to work.. Daycare calls mom to ask where the kid is 6-7 hours after the fact, Mom calls dad, Dad has the biggest "oh fvck" moment in the universe.

I know I know, the dad is a complete dipshit, 100% at fault and negligent to the teeth,

BUT

Can you imagine how that would feel ? The phone call.. walking out to the car... Ugh :(

Not to mention the poor baby..

No matter how many of these stories I hear, I still cannot fathom EVER forgetting my kids in the car, asleep or not.

I suppose, unlike some people, I just care too damn much about them.

You think it's funny, but 2 children in my city have already died this year to that very thing.

no, I don't think it is funny...I find it pathetic situation that there are people who have to have their children die due to their idiocy just to prove that they are stupid beyond belief and are unfit parents.

Anyone that is that stupid should be sterilized and put in prison for a very long time.

Yes, it is incredibly sad. I don't have any kids, but I imagine that if a parent left a child in the car and it died, every day for the rest of his/her life know what he/she did would be punishment enough. Although I guess there are just some people who don't care.
