ok so for those that know i need not explain, but for those who have no idea what im talkin about here it is
a guy from the UK, modded his ford escort cosworth (a seriously quick car to start with) a hell of a lot.... dont know the exact figures but 450bhp + easily (possibly 500Bhp+) it was done up in reyland rally livery, roll cage, the lot. basically a group B rally car on steroids.
0-60 in less than 3 seconds, and 200mph probably wasnt off the cards by a long shot.
held the world landspeed record for caravan towing....it may still hold it.
anyway he took it on the gumball last year, and in a stupid manouver .... overtaking another car that was itself already overtaking some one, he managed to roll it 4-5 times in the desert ish area at the top of africa. it was such a harsh crash even the roll cage bent.
this crash hasnt been documented at all in the new gumball 3000 DVD. the dodge viper one has, but this was far more spectacular.
