I am possibly getting a 2.4c that hits 3ghz easy... with an ic7. in the opinion of others which is faster that or my barton 2500 at 3400 and my asus a7n8x. let me know please

btw the 2.4c is hyperthreading able

I believe the Barton 2500 and the 2.4B give similar performance. The 2.4C should be better, but then again, it costs a lot more.

The difference is so small I don't see why you'd want to spend the extra money for it.

I'd say if you are going to use your system for multimedia get the 2.4c...if not, the 2500+ should be just as good in about everything else you cand throw at it...

Are you running 3200+ as seen in your sig or 3400+??? I agree with the last post, however you could get lucky and get a 2.4c that can do 3.2-3.4ghz then knowing how th epr rating was for the bartons that would be a good leap. Also as mentioned above if it is in multimedia and rendering, as well as heavy multitasking you will get value from it....
