Ok browsers stalls while uploading to youtube??? but ftp still works?

it seems when i want to uploaad to youtube or any other site many times, my browser wont load pages at any site and the upload times out. would work till i reset the router

now, i figured the router was going down, but the other day i was ftp ing a batch of files and tried to upload to youtube, and bang lock up, BUT TTHE FTP KEPT GOING

now i get the lock up on uploads to piccasa from iphoto

i have a belkin pre-n router thoughts?
 
Port tigger.
ftp and http use different port. Make sure no security application other than a router bulit-in. Good luck!

ok, i don't have any software set, it happens on pcs to, and upload, mostly flash... or java
