"Friend" is attempting to set up a new build.....k7 620, 6GB Corsair, Asus Rampage II Gene, a Kingston V100+ SSD as OS drive, 1TB WD Black as storage....both SATA, obviously.

He's saying he cannot get the WD hard drive to show in My Computer.......

I lay out, with pictures of each step, how to format and make active his WD drive.

I get this pic of his computer management/storage/hd pane......

WTH?

My brain's not working I guess.....so what's the solution? I'm working via email with him as he's over 2 hours away. And the solution has to be simple........
