I ask you!
What units make up a calorie? Like a Newton is a kilogram meter per second; what is a calorie in those terms? I can't find it or figure it...

Calorie is definitely not a basic unit.

I think its the amount of energy needed to heat one SOMETHING of water 1 degree C
