i'm 178cm tall (5'11ish i guess), and weigh in at a mighty 63kg or thereabouts...i'm pretty active and toned ;) Do plenty of arm weights, and work on the farm pretty regularly, so i'm no weakling, but still can't seem to hit a sensible weight...

GP said i should be about 66kg to be a healthy weight for my height, i'd like to hit 70kg...

So far she said eat say 6-8 meals a day, as you get too full to easily with 3, and as many carbs (bread, pasta, potatoe) that i can get, any further advice?

Cheers,

 (oh and i get stuck into that pretty regularly as well ;)).

If he's having trouble maintaining weight, lifting more without increasing caloric intake will yield very little.

Dug: Increase calories by ~500 or so per day to start. Adjust +/- from there after a few weeks, depending on progress, or lack thereof. Continue working out. Macadamia nuts are a nice, high calorie snack.

Er you don't look underweight. But if you want to bulk up, just hit the gym. Just being heavier isn't attractive, you want that weight to be muscles.

6-8 meals a day will make your metabolism skyrocket, plus you'll be sh!tting all day long. Add LOTS of protein to your diet and eat 3-4 large meals a day.

Oh, and drink mass quantities of dark, heavy beer!

2 to 3 large meals a day. Lay off the weights. Eat fast food more reguarly or stuff like hamburger fried etc. Probably a little unhealthy though.
